This Marlin manufactured first variation receiver and barrel assembly is for the Glenfield model 20 bolt action rimfire rifle and consists of the early variation barrel designed for the band type front sight, cartridge guide, early variation receiver lacking the full length extractor groove and the trigger stud. The overall condition is very good retaining over 95% original blue finish with light wear. The receiver is the only part on the Glenfield model 20 rifle that is tracked as a firearm therefore it will need to be transferred through a dealer. Receivers do not qualify as a C&R based on BATFE's guide lines.  (file photo)
